Will STEPTOE

Dr. William STEPTOE is a leading researcher in virtual and mixed realities and human computer interaction. He did his PhD in 2010 on eye tracking and avatar-mediated communication in immersive collaborative virtual environments. His research interests include virtual environments, computer supported cooperative work, telecommunication and remote interaction, avatar-mediated communication, virtual humans, behavioral modeling, human-computer interaction, body tracking, eye tracking and analysis. Before joining Meta as a software engineer, he worked as a researcher and lecturer at University College London and was involved in EU funded projects.
