Tina NIGRO

Tina NIGRO is a renowned entrepreneur in the XR industry based in France.
With a decade of experience in software engineering that began at the age of 14, she has made significant contributions to open-source projects like VLC for Windows Store, which accumulated over 25 million downloads during her tenure. Awarded the Microsoft Regional Director title in 2015, she then co-founded Opuscope in 2016, where her team developed award-winning spatial computing content creation platforms. Under her leadership as CTO, the company partnered with industry giants such as Magic Leap, Microsoft, Meta and Sketchfab.
Currently, Tina is an active mentor to entrepreneurs and serves as an advisor on governmental committees, guides startups and companies on the integration and strategy around XR. She also develops apps on Apple’s visionOS.
