Dr. Julien CASTET leads research activities since 2012 at Immersion. His main areas of expertise include Interaction, Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Mixed Reality, Computer Music, Computer-Human Interaction, Art. He is an active expert to the French National Research Agency and the European Commission. Prior to his current position, he has conducted research on 3D interaction and haptic at Grenoble Institute of Technology.
He received his Ph.D. in computer science (Engineering of Cognition, Interaction, Learning and Creation specialisation) from the Grenoble Alpes University, France. He is or has been the author and the scientific partners of several European funded projects since 2005 and the author of more than 30 papers published in international journals and conference proceedings in his field of research.
