François KLEIN

François KLEIN is an immersive content producer specialized in new forms of storytelling involving XR technologies. He starts his career in broadcast television (France24, Orange) before moving to film post-production (Titrafilm). In 2016, he joins DVgroup as a consultant producer and co-creates the original content production department. With DVgroup, François produces ALICE the virtual reality play and The Real Thing. In 2017 and 2019, he writes “How to make your first VR movie” where he shares his knowledge and best practices in VR movie production.

In 2018, he co-found Digital Rise, a creative production studio for emerging talents working on innovative narrative concepts with engaging user-experience designs. His work leads immersive pieces to major international festivals such as Sundance, SXSW, Sheffield Doc, XR Venise Bienale, GIFF, Tribeca.

His productions got awarded as best VR experiences (The Real thing), best VR stereography (Mechanical Souls), best Immersive (Mandala: A Brief Moment in Time) and Audience awards (Jailbirds: Bwa Kayiman).

He is also a teacher and lecturer in stereography and VR.
